1. Dish gardens do not have drainage in their pots so they need much less water. A good rule of thumb is to feel the soil and water only if the soil feels dry.

2. Keep a Dish Garden in indirect light.

3. As a Dish Garden grows some of the vines may need to be cut back . This keeps the plants in balance. remember - though you may enjoy them for a long time eventually they will overgrow the container and then need to be repotted or discarded.

4. Occasionally you may fertilize your Dish Garden with half strength fertilizer.
